Master Cleanse Forum - Master Cleanser Lemonade Diet

Today is supposed to be day six but I had a horrible allergic reaction yesterday and had to take benadryl, probably will have to take it for two more days. I am staying with the cleanse but does that mean I start my count of days from when I can come off the drug???

I know how that is. during some of my cleanses I occasionally break out in allergies depending on the season and I'll take meds. Even when I get migraines because I don't want to be completely miserable during the cleanse. Personally it hasen't ever affected my cleanse, but it's up to you to decide to start over. But If you stick to the cleanse your allergies will indeed go away.

Thanks for the advice, I am sticking with it.....even though a few days will include these pills... It is poison oak and the swelling is starting to go down...

Hey DC Girl, most likely your allergic reaction was a healing crisis. however, it's your body and you must do what you feel is the right thing to do. healing is a personal journey and no can judge anyone else's process. you may want to try adding green juice to your daily regime once you finish your MC. research the greens and fruits that help with the digestive and respiratory systems, and also the ones that are recommended to heal the skin organ. you're close to completely wiping out your allergies. allergies are simply your body's way of saying....

very true. i think you're correct. DC girl is smart and knows her body. sometimes what appears on the surface is not what it seems. this event holds information to her unlocking more healing information... the MC, the allergic reaction, the advice, the decision, the results... et al.

The reaction was to poison oak, which I am severely allergic towards. My eyes were swelled close so there was very little choice but to take something. I did consider this a cleanse break even though I stayed with the diet during this timeframe. I figured it could not hurt to try to cleanse out as much as possible during this timeframe….as long as the drugs seemed to be working, which they did.

Anyway, since this time was not exactly a success, I am starting again for my fall cleanse……

Must stay away from the animals though.....
