I'm about to break...

I'm on day 16 of a 40 day cleanse. I can't describe how out of my mind I feel- I want to murder people so I can eat their flesh. :twisted:

I don't understand why I'm struggling so bad right now :cry:

Even the first 4 days weren't this bad. I've opened 4 cans of soup, planning to break the fast, and then I've dumped them out because I know how disappointed I'll feel if I quit now :cry:

Is this normal? Has anyone gone through it? It seems late in the game to be feeling this way...I also feel seriously pissed off for no reason. :cry:

Any advice, support, ideas are welcome :cry:

Just don't give up on a bad day. I'm on my first cleanse...day 25 of 40. There were some rough days between 10 and 20 for sure, and I'm sure I'll find at least one or two more before this is through.

Thank you for the encouragement. Congrats on day 25, that feels like SO LONG to me right now :lol:

I made soup three times yesterday, then tossed it in the trash. I came so close to breaking but as I watched that soup cook I thought about how I would feel the next day, when I tried so hard and then let myself down so bad.

I took a shot of colloidal minerals and a shot of sea minerals and I felt better within a few hours. I know that was 'cheating' but I don't know if I'd have made it through the day if I hadn't done that.

Another day down!

CleansingCrazy you are on day 16, that is an achievement on its own. Don't give up now, you are almost there.
Just think of the results of your hard work and that should motivate you to stick with it.

I am amazed that you have gone 16 days on the cleanse. I am on day 5 of only a 10 day and I am starving and willing my self around every corner to keep going. You should be very proud of your self, dont break you have made it so far. Keep going!

Keep going you can do it. I am on day 11 today and going for 40 myself. I am doing the same willing myself through this for better health. Good luck. If you need a buddy let me know.

good job CleansingCrazy! i'm on day 26 today, but for about a week straight i wanted to quit every single night. i looked at my journal and realized i was only getting in about 4 lemonades a day. when i upped it to the daily minimum of 6, away went my thoughts of "killing people and eating their flesh"...LOL! (that was too funny what you wrote!

).

i think with an extended fast/cleanse, you can be more generous with your lemonade consumption (without going over the 12 glass limit). you gotta pace yourself - since you're in it for the long haul, you know?
