Master Cleanse Forum - Master Cleanser Lemonade Diet

I'll be starting a 10 day cleanse on the 12th and it'll be my third 10-day cleanse. I'm very excited and if anyone wants to be a 'partner in cleanse', please let me know. My question is whether or not it is okay to use natural colon cleanse pills that contain senna and other natural ingredients instead of the senna tea. I've used these pills occasionally in the past when I eat cooked food (I'm predominantly raw) and it works well and timely and is much more gentle than the senna tea which sometimes gives me cramps or just doesn't work. If anyone has used the pills or has any advice, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Good questions. I advise against pills of any kind during the Master Cleanse, as your body is not ready to digest solids during the Master Cleanse. Instead, using the salt water flush each morning is best.

If you want to add a tea as well, I'd suggest avoiding senna. Senna is a harsh laxative that does progressive harm to the bowel's functioning with continued use. Instead, I'd suggest chamomile tea.
