1 cup maple syrup has 1% sodium

distilled water has no sodium
cayenne does not have sodium

Ideally, if my SWF would have failed once or twice it would be perfect. I have no clue how the levels dipped.
I can't think more.

Hi JTW,
I think a good plan maybe to be

(i) retain around level 145 for sodium just before start of the cleanse (as in 10 days, the sodium levels will drop- but one is still in the range and electrolytes are balanced)..
just means eat a few pretzels or salty stuff just before the cleanse. (normal sodium range is 135-145)

(ii) keep the potassium level high before the cleanse (around 4.8 will be good- so it can drop to about 3.5 in 10-12 days. If you are going longer think of an electrolyte supplement). (normal pottasium range 3.5-5)

My levels were 136 sodium and 3.7 pottasium (before the cleanse- by detailed blood workout was done 2 weeks before the cleanse to actually know my lipid profile)
and dropped to 121 sodium and 2.8 pottasium after 10 days of cleanse (these are pretty bad numbers).

symptoms of low pottasium
erratic heart beat, dizziness, confusion, unconciousness (so its worth getting good numbers before the cleanse)
sodium is also similar and I was lucky they spotted it when they did.

I felt dizzy (but attributed it to high BP) and had serious visual disturbance so rushed to ER.

I had a perfectionist doctor (who put up the electrolyte balance blood test and waited two days and then rushed me off back to ER)
(but in the two days, I came off the fast ..).

I do like the MC- if I am giving so many details, its so that (maybe older) folks will take care.

Have a nice day
