I would like to go on record as saying that I agree with EVERYTHING Karijo says, completely and irrevocably no matter what...

...and I'm not say this because she threatened to kick my butt....

I'm not..

really... :?

I would also like to add that I too agree with absolutely everything Kari Jo has to say.

It's nice to see that the friendly tone still is alive and well in this forum!! :D

There was a pretty interesting debate going on there for a while!

BTW...Loren, I just realized you did say that you didn't disagree with what Kari Jo said...

So ACTUALLY we are all AGREEING!!

Remi24 - If you are asking how much you should mix together it is two level teaspoons to 1 quart warm water (4cups).
:?
No one needs to agree or disagree - I love this site it has been a big help in my process and yes I am interested in losing weight in the long run but this is a tool to get me on the right track. And as far as I am concerned for those of us who are obese, we can use a holistic method to getting healthier, as many doctors say -"You are unhealthy you need to lose weight!", thus our problem we think simply losing weight will make us healthier. It is easier to just say I am doing it to Lose weight because that is what we have been programmed to understand all of our lives. IN TRUTH THE BOTTOM LINE IS IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO LOSE WEIGHT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR BETTER HEALTH! If you fail you were just not ready to make the permanant life style change.

For me after years of busting my butt 3-5 days a week at the gym and going through Thyroid tests and Metobolism tests and eating more fiber and less fat and following weight watchers, I just keep gaining weight. So after 5 years of reading about this and 11 years of reading and looking into bariatric surgeries, lap bands etc and knowing doing something so drastic I would be on a liquid diet for some time until I could handle only a tablespoon of solids then have major backlash for eating the things that this diet recommends not eating, I decided I am best to try this and if it truly works then I will be well on my way to starting off on the right foot to a new life without the need for my body to try to heal it self in the process.

To everyone thank you for your candid stories they have been a great help to me. :)

No not both, just the Salt water first thing in the am on an empty stomach then wait one to one and a half hours before the first lemonade. Tea at night best if it is at least one to two hours after your last lemonade. Only drink the tea in the morning if you can't take the salt water but the salt water gets out the toxins released by the tea the night before.

I am thinking of starting this cleanse as a cleanse and not a diet. however, like everyone has stated, the weigh loss is a bonus. I really appreciate Karijo's comments as everything I read is all so positive. I want to know the issues/concerns.

I have heard from various doctors that the MC cleaanse plays havoc with your electrolites and if someone is trying to lose weight (ie dieting and exercising) then after the MC cleanse you will not only gain all the weight back but anytime afterwards one diets, your body will go in starvation mode/MC cleanse mode and not let any stored fat go.

Has anyone heard this? What happens after the cleanse, do you in fact gain everything back (of course, your eating has to change but to how much extent? :?:
