I do wish all of you success reaching your goal. I, however had to quit after my third day. I developed such pain from my waist to my legs that was unbearable...It was a dull constant pain, so much so that I could not stand up, lay down or sit for a long time...I had to choose between having the pain and/or quitting because when I raised the question I was told that this was part of the process...I thought I could bear it but it became too overwhelming...
Some people may think that I gave up too soon, but believe me I held on as much as I could...I believe that my existing condition didn't help me.
Hopefully I will try it again and I will succeed.
Good luck to you all!

This is my very first fast, and i have so many questions..first and most important, after i succeed, from my first 10 days, and i continue on to the orange juice phase. when all is complete, would it be ok, to continue drinking the solution, along with sensible foods? what would be the benefits of keeping this drink an important part of my everyday life, after the fast? I would appreciate any info you have on this. you can also use my e-mail address if you want to chat with me about this..
Thanks for your time,
Sukike

Hello,

Does it destroy the nutrients to microwave or heat the lemonade?

Thank you,
Jenny

In the original post it states to take it easy...I'm an advid exerciser...I workout three times a day, 3 miles in the AM, then 45 minutes of weights in the early afternoon (1PM) and then either swimming or 1-2 miles again on the treadmill again in the PM.

Is this ok?

From the book..

"oney must not be used at any time internally. It is manufactured from the nectar picked up from the flowers by the bees--good enough in itself, perhaps--then predigested, vomited and stored for their own future use with a preservative added. It is deficient in calcium and has many detrimental effects for the human being.

Just as with alcohol, honey, being predigested, enters the blood directly, raising the sugar content very rapidly above normal. To correct this, the pancreas must produce insulin immediately orpossible death can occur. More insulin than necessary is likely to be produced, and the blood sugar level then drops below normal. This can produce blackout spells and even death if it goes to low. When blood sugar is below normal a person will feel depressed. The regular use of honey can create constant imbalances, which in turn will adverselt affect the normal function of the liver, pancreas and spleen. Hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia are the results of the use of unbalanced sugars. The balanced sugar in maple syrup and sugar can juice causes no dangerous side effects. Artificial, synthetic, and refined sugars have no place in a natural diet."

I'm on the end of day three. I couldn't find anything in the book about this and I'm wondering...can I drink sparling natural mineral water? It does not include any flavors, just water with minerals. I find the bubbles help keep me feeling full? :?:

Hi my name is Jenni and I'm begining a MC today (actually started last night with the tea) I'm new to all of this, and I tried to actually do the MC a couple of weeks ago and stopped on day 7 (only because I realized that I was doing it wrong  I think this forum has helped me already. And I like the content and questions that I've been veiwing so far :) Hopefully I will be able to get and read further support as I have already.
And most of all maybe one day I will be able to help someone else along with good words of wisdom and incouragement :D So to anyone who reads this feel free to respond to me I'm looking for input and need support. (especially since sometimes people you know can be so negative :? ) Okay, well so far this morning is great, and I actually feel really jazzed about everything!

Till next time
Jenni

Thank you for your initial post and then further clarification Kari Jo. It must have taken you a while to type up those posts and with the sole purpose of sharing your experince and helping newcomers. The world would be a nicer place if we all shared our experiences, knowledge and time as freely as you do. Thanks again. :D

Thanks!

I've been away a long time, it's nice to be back!
I'm gearing up for my annual MC. Hoping to go another 30 or 40 days.
Right now I'm just doing a small 5 day juice fast to see how my body feels about it, if it's time to go for my MC. I think it is though! I'm really looking forward to it, and will be happy to back on these forums regularly to get and give advice and support!
:)

big hugs to all of you!
Kari Jo

Dan,

I don't think that I can't do the SWF daily, I have high blood pressure and I'm afraid the salt will raise it. I was going to use the tea as an alternative method.

Hey Ksgal,

One of the problems created by eating non-food items, like normal table salt, has been linked bigtime to high blood pressure. The sodium chloride isn't digestible. It can't be broken down because it is not recognized as a food.

Sodium chloride, also known as common salt, table salt, or halite, is a chemical compound with the formula NaCl.

You are supposed to use Sea Salt, which is a food. Maybe it won't affect you too much.

I'm starting and wanted to know if you can add the Grade B Maple Syrup to the tea for a sweeter taste?
