Master Cleanse Forum - Master Cleanser Lemonade Diet

1. I couldn't find lax tea (still looking). I used 3 lax pills instead - each pill contains 8.6mg of senna. Can I continue this or is lax tea really the best way to go?

2. SWF in the morning - DOES THIS MAKE ME have BM in the morning?? I have school! : ( Or does it just mean I have to wake up early, down the SWF, and BM before I go to school?

3. Must I BM everyday?

4. I was planning on going 40 days but I read that hair loss might happen. If this is so, can I use protein pills or a light protein concoction later on?

I'll be very honest and say that I'm primarily doing this for weight loss purposes (as well as breaking bad eating habits), so it doesn't bother me that pills won't be as effective in completely cleansing than tea. But I would still like the best effects.

1. I'd recommend against pills, as your digestive system is not ready for solids during the Master Cleanse. I'd also recommend against senna, as it's a harsh laxative that does progressive harm to the bowels. Instead, I'd suggest chamomile tea. More info on chamomile tea during the Master Cleanse is at
2. Yes, do the salt water flush every morning. It will prompt one or more watery bowel movements within an hour or two.
3. Yes, daily bowel movements are necessary to keep the toxins moving out of your body. Leaving them sitting in your colon is not good for you and you're likely to feel lousy in that case.
4. I'd suggest limiting it to about 20 days at a time. You can do another Master Cleanse after rebuilding your body for a while.
