Master Cleanse Forum - Master Cleanser Lemonade Diet

I'm just starting the MC diet today and I found that I could only get down about half of the salt water flush. I have been using psyllium husk daily for about 8 months, so I never really have probs with bowel movements. I also started using the laxative tea. Can I exclude the SWF if I continue with the psyllium? I want to detoxify - since I'm hoping it will help with my rheumatoid arthritis - and I need to lose about 50 lbs.
I would really appreciate any input from more experienced MCers. Thanks.

No Psyllium cannot be used during the cleanse, it will restart your digestive system and make you feel not very good.

However, it is great to use after you have finished the cleanse to help bulk up with fiber to help you go to the bathroom.

Psyllium is often used in conjunction with bentonite clay after the cleanse, known on these boards as the P&B shakes.

Hmmm. I just saw this post about how psyllium will make me feel bad during the cleanse.

That surprises me. I am on Day 7 of my 5th Master Cleanse, and I did not want to do SWF flush this time, so I decided to use a lax tea and psyllium.
I have never felt as good on a cleanse as I do on this one -- easy elimination, no side effects, no weir cravings, great energy. I have been telling people this is my easiest cleanse so far.
