Master Cleanse Forum - Master Cleanser Lemonade Diet

I am starting the MC tomorrow after three days of easing in. I ate soft veggies and a bit of baked chicken on day one, juices and homemade chicken broth made with a lot of chicken feet for collagen on day two and three. Less broth on Day three. I am Blood Type O so the idea of a veggie only broth did not appeal to me at least for the ease in. I may use it in the early days of the ease out, which I presume will be longer as I would like to stay on the MC long enough to shed at least 20 lbs.

I plan to start the lemonade tomorrow. When people count days I assume they are counting the days of actually lemonade and not the ease in days?

I did a liver gb flush, finished two weeks ago Friday, did salt water flushes for six days and then Epsom Salts for two days which also flushed my colon. I have not been in the least bit constipated since, in fact quite the opposite, more loose or just soft / regular, which is new for me since I am almost always constipated and previously had to use a lot of warm water / epsom salt or hydrogen peroxide and water enemas.

Do I need to continue the SWF each morning even though my stools are loose now with the two days of juicing? I really do not mind the taste at all, it tastes quite good to me actually.

I do not want to take laxative teas so should I just drink an nice herbal tea in the evening or do a second SWF or nothing at all?

I need to lose 70 lbs to get to my normal weight. I also have recently had edema in my ankles and feet, which is getting to be a real concern since it seems to be getting worse. I do sit at the computer a lot and have starting walking each morning now that I am doing the MC. The liver flush cleared up the edema for about four days and I felt great. I passed over a hundred pea sized stones. I did my first liver flush in Dec '10 and got very few stones but did excrete a lot of bile. I am 57 so that is not unusual for a first flush I am told.

I plan to repeat the Liver Flush in two more weeks, but not sure I can do both the MC, if I am able to stay on it, or if I need to wait until I am off the MC to flush again.

I spoke with Andreas Moritz, holistic health author and consultant, who wrote The Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Flush, on Thursday. He was on Patrick Timpone's internet radio show (very good show btw).

I asked him about doing a Liver GB Flush while on the MC. He said that it is not advisable since the body is not producing bile due to the digestive system being shut down.

He has an excellent blog and website for anyone who is unfamiliar with his work. I highly recommend him as a very insightful author. The interview was two hours.

Good for you for doing the liver/gallbladder flushes and the Master Cleanse. I'd agree, do them separately, not concurrently.

As for the tea and salt water flush during the Master Cleanse, I'd say do the salt water flush every day during the Master Cleanse. Chamomile tea is also helpful. Without the salt water flush, the toxins unleashed by the Master Cleanse lemonade will tend to back up in you. Some instructions and tips for the salt water flush are at
