Master Cleanse Forum - Master Cleanser Lemonade Diet

Hello! I'm on my sixth cleanse and the senna tea is giving me such bad cramps (to the point I can't function well) that I had to stop taking it every day. I noticed that the pain got progressively worse with each cleanse and now I'm not sure what to do. I use the Smooth Move tea, both kinds, and they both do a number on me. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Ease back on the tea a little and increase your water intake... You can also try a little Cramp Bark tincture ...

Sorry to hear of your trouble from the senna tea. It doesn't surprise me, though. Senna is a harsh laxative that works by irritating the bowel and does progressive harm with prolonged use. But not to worry. Senna tea is unnecessary for the Master Cleanse. Instead, I suggest chamomile tea (much gentler and safer than senna) before bed and the Master Cleanse salt water flush first thing every morning. That will keep the toxins moving out of you without doing so much harm or causing pain.
