Master Cleanse Forum - Master Cleanser Lemonade Diet

Hi everyone. Well I started the MC today. I had my litre of salt water this morning and expected to be dashing off to the loo every two minutes but I've had three "eliminations" today and they were normal. I had some hunger pangs but ignored them until half an hour ago when I found a small salad making its way into my mouth. Urm. Then I had a cup of tea with two sugars. Bliss! However, I'm now thinking I need to be more prepared for this cleanse. It was harder than I thought. Any advice? I've read a variety of opinions from the MC's getting better after day three to it being really hard all the way through. I have failed this one!

Thanks Chrissy but am not sure I can do this one. I can do it will two small salads a day but that isn't the way to do it is it. Hmm. I might look into a juicing cleanse which allows those two small salads a day. I can do that.

The first 3-4 days are the worst. If you can get through them, it gets easier. The hunger actually goes away. The only thing to deal with after that is "mind games" of wanting to eat but not actually having physical hunger pains.
It is really hard though in the beginning. I have intense migraines and bad depression every time. Every minute of the day, I want to quit but just keep pushing through and eventually its worth it. I think eating a salad a day would actually be harder because it keeps your digestive system up and running which means your actual hunger pains will never cease.
During the cleanse, your digestive system actually shuts down making the hunger go away.
Hope that helps some. If you can...just take a few days off and sleep through most of it...that helps
