Master Cleanse Forum - Master Cleanser Lemonade Diet

Hi all,

I have a question about the new (or at least new to me) Peppermint Smooth Move tea:

I've done the Master Cleanse a few times, and I typically stick to the standard Smooth Move tea. I tried the Chocolate and didn't care for it, but when I noticed the Peppermint version, I thought I'd give it a try for a little variety.

I noticed in using it this week that Peppermint tea's effect seemed less strong than the original version.

Has anyone else has had this experience, or is it just me or maybe the batch I bought?

I'd love to hear people's thoughts.

i've seen the new traditional medicine tea brand varieties and think they're great!

peppermint tea puts me on alert, so i would steer clear of that one myself in the evening. if one doesn't want to do the SWF and would prefer to drink tea in both the morning and evening, perhaps the new peppermint smooth move would work well in the a.m. hours.

they also have a chamomile smooth move* now. chamomile tea knocks me out!

some people have trouble sleeping during the initial days of a cleanse. so you can carry two birds with one tree (i like this better than the other saying.. hahaa). you can move your colon and calm your soul for a sound sleep at the same time.

i prefer not to use the chocolate smooth move for the same reasons. even though there really is not any caffeine in it... my mind is not fooled and thinks there is. the few times i've used it, i was wide awake. can't explain it other than to say my body is programmed on multiple levels to think chocolate will keep me awake!

*i have used this one.. love it! worked just as well and strong as the original brand for me.
