Honestly, I did that myself on my first ever cleanse once. It was later on in the cleanse and I felt horrible about it, but I wanted to taste something and chew so badly. It is ok, just don't do it again. Create a motivational list that you can look at any time you feel like straying. Once you get past days 3 and 4 it is so much easier, and you'll begin to be satisfied by even the smells of food alone. Or in some cases get grossed out by certain smells, such as fried foods. It was early enough that you should be ok so long as you don't repeat. Best of luck! I'm on Day 10 of 40!
