Easing in is done to help lessen the shock to your body of cleansing. Many people ease in different ways, it mostly means eating light. For me when I ease in I eat smaller meals, mostly fresh fruits, vegetables, salads, oatmeal, cottage cheese, yogurt, and so on. No large meals, otherwise when you start the cleanse you may have some serious hunger pains for a bit while your stomach adjusts and becomes used to it.
During the cleanse to keep your metabolism going never drink less than 6 Drinks per day! Aim for at least 7! But never less than 6, also make sure plenty of water.
Depending on the length of your cleanse is how long you should plan to ease in and ease off. Usually a week of easing in is best, or up to two.
