I agree - keep the ratios the same in each drink.
I too vary the amount of lemon I put in -- since each lemon has a different quantity of juice in it. If it's a large lemon I just use half, then save the other half for the next drink a few hours later.
I also read (Tom Woloshyn book) that halving the maple syrup is OK, especially if you want fewer calories to lose weight. It's what I do, so usually 1.0 tablespoons of maple syrup per glass for me.
As for the SWF, I had to find the "sweet spot" of how much salt to put into my quart of warm water to get the more predictable eliminations. I use a little less than 1 tablespoon, which probably equates to 2.5 teaspoons.
