Master Cleanse Forum - Master Cleanser Lemonade Diet

i have completed the master cleanse 2 x's in the past, the first one for 10 days and the 2nd one for 15 days; this is a powerful and disciplined detox that does wonders for the body and mind.
During these 2 cleanses I only drank the laxative tea every other night and swf every 5 days. I felt GREAT during the entire duration and very satisfied with the results with no problems.

i started april 4th for my third cleanse because of chronic constipation so therefore drank the tea morning and nightly as the book instructs if you are unable to do the swf in the mornings (although I did do 2 swf 4 days apart as i would be at home on those days but did not drink the morning tea on those days). i felt great until last night april 12th and ended up in the er room with a very rapid heart rate, high blood pressure (my normal bp is around 120/80, pulse around 60) feeling rather fuzzy headed, general weakness and calves ached. i informed them about the cleanse with the diarrhea so they immediately drew blood and determined i was hypokalemia (low potassium) and hyponatremia (low sodium) due to the diarrhea for the past 9 days. i was given an iv with replacement solution along with 2 huge pills of potassium. this is day 10 of the cleanse but currently easing out with orange juice and a little vegetable broth for increasing sodium levels as i was instructed and now feeling better.

so, please note: too much laxative tea can be harmful!!! be careful and listen to your body. i will definitely do the cleanse again without hesitation but will proceed without all the extra laxative tea just as i did with the first two successful cleanses.

this cleanse may not be for everyone, but for those of us that are, reap the benefits!

I am on day 7 and I only did the SWF once.
Wonder if it's okay to take the tea and SWF every 5 days? That's what I am planning to do.
