I have a ritual every morning:
1) Prepare the lukewarm salt water, and an extra glass of cold water on the side; 2) Pour some of the salt water in another glass. 3) Take 3 deep breaths 4) Hold in the 3rd breath, (hold your nose if necessary) and sip the salt water, counting as you sip. 1-2-3...Get a rhythm going with the sips of water, think about the counting--not the water. 5) Continue to hold your breath, and take a few sips of the cold water to remove the taste from your mouth. 6) Breathe normally, and repeat until the quart of water is taken.
It works every time! I never enjoy it, but I get it down without feeling nauseous. It's really important to do whatever you can to do this flush. You're really not cleansing without it, IMHO
