I have NEVER been able to drink 4 cups of the salt water...how do YOU manage to get it down? |

I hear that some people pretend that it's broth or something? Others have tried it with a straw. I've never had a success story connected to the SWF. I tried it a couple of times last month and I threw it up! So, I give up and have no desire to try it again. |

I don't have trouble getting the four cups of salt water down all at once. I guess I would ask why you have been unable to do that. Is it that you throw it up? If not, then it's really just a psychological block. In that case you just need to decide to drink it all. Also make sure that the water is warm so that it's comfortable and not disturbing to your stomach. |

I have a very hard time with it. I drink it through a straw, and after a few gulps I will take a small sip of decaf coffee to get the salt taste out of my mouth. One good result is that I have lost my desire for coffee, because the taste of coffee is not linked to the sick feeling I get from drinking the salt water! |

Make the SWF hot like tea, and imagine that you are drinking chicken broth, its almost like youre having a meal! |

I found a new trick: Add the juice of a lemon to the salt water. When I was a kid I used to eat lemons and salt loved the salty lemon flavor! Now I can drink it easily, and it still flushes out the colon. |

I have a ritual every morning: 1) Prepare the lukewarm salt water, and an extra glass of cold water on the side; 2) Pour some of the salt water in another glass. 3) Take 3 deep breaths 4) Hold in the 3rd breath, (hold your nose if necessary) and sip the salt water, counting as you sip. 1-2-3...Get a rhythm going with the sips of water, think about the counting--not the water. 5) Continue to hold your breath, and take a few sips of the cold water to remove the taste from your mouth. 6) Breathe normally, and repeat until the quart of water is taken. It works every time! I never enjoy it, but I get it down without feeling nauseous. It's really important to do whatever you can to do this flush. You're really not cleansing without it, IMHO |
