I imagine this reply may come too late to be of use, but for whatever it's worth to you or others that may read this thread, here are a few thoughts: • Good for you for making your lemonade fresh before drinking every glass! Well done. • Yes, I would agree that you seemed impatient and that your mind was imposing its perspective of what should be on your body. • 6-8 glasses of the lemonade (with two tablespoons of maple syrup per glass), is very little nourishment. That is far below what most adults need on a daily basis. As you starve your body in that way, it will slow its metabolism in an effort to survive. So you may be better off drinking more lemonade to approximate the daily caloric needs your body truly has. • You didn't mention exercise. Have you not been exercising? Bodies generally need that challenge and stimulation to build muscle, raise your metabolism, and burn off fat.
