OK, it's day seven of my Master Cleanse. I've been perfect on the cleanse and have lost 13 pounds! I actually love the lemonade and can see myself doing this longer than 10 days. Thinking about going for 21. Yesterday, Day 6, I started to experience some vaginal itching. This morning when I woke up it's much worse. It's reminiscent of a yeast infection, although I haven't had something like that for many years. Is it possible that the master cleanse is flushing all of the good bacteria out with the bad? I'm a little worried that the maple sugar will be feeding any yeast problem that is surfacing. Is it OK for me to take an over-the-counter corrective measure like Monistat during the cleanse?

Yes, the Master Cleanse can leave the body vulnerable to yeast infections. So you may need to use additional measures to keep your body in balance for the meantime. Best wishes!

Yes, perhaps, you are having yeast infection but it is not difficult to get rid of it using natural remedies. For example,Boric acid is a chemical substance with mild antiseptic and antifungal properties. Boric acid is not recommended for pregnant women.

1.Dilute some boric acid with water.
2.Apply the diluted solution over the affected skin area and leave it on for a few minutes.
3.Then rinse the area thoroughly with water.
4.Do this daily for two weeks.
