Master Cleanse Forum - Master Cleanser Lemonade Diet

Something VERY strange happening to my tongue, sure hope someone can tell me it is 'normal'! I am on Day 31, and the last few days, I've noticed that I am swellowing lots, and it feels as though something is in my throat . So today I felt way back there with my finger, and there are hard bumps, all over the far back of my tongue, and all over the sides of my throat. I just keep swallowing and swallowing, because I can feel them, and it is driving me crazy! Anyone else ever have this?!

Without more details it is hard to say, I have never done such a long cleanse either. It could potentially be the Cayenne is somehow burning you which means you should cut back or the lemon is coming in contact too often with the mouth as it is acidic perhaps because the lemons are not ripe yet... I use a straw. But again, really, I don't know for sure. I need more details as to how you are doing the cleanse.

If you were on the 31st day of the Master Cleanse, I'd say it's time to transition out of it. Though the Master Cleanse can be wonderfully cleansing, it is not a complete diet and not appropriate for long term use. So by day 31 there's a high probability you're experiencing nutritional deficiencies or other adverse effects.

If you truly need more cleansing, you can always do another cleanse in a few months. But for now your body probably needs replenishment.
