First day here. Did the SWF as directed. Laid on my right side. Waited. Then, I lost control of my bowels (liquid), ran to the bathroom and grabbed the trash can as I started vomiting. This went on for about 10 minutes. Question: Is the SWF necessary if I do laxative tea 2x/day? I KNOW I can't do it again. The thought of it has me dry heaving. |

Terribly sorry to hear of your rough experience with the salt water flush! That's rather extreme. Though of course I don't know what steps you may have followed or what other factors may have contributed in your case, here are a few general thoughts: The salt water flush is generally four cups of water mixed well with two level teaspoons of sea salt, preferably Celtic Sea Salt. Did you waver from that? If not, perhaps a smaller amount in that ratio would suit you better. As for drinking laxative tea, be careful. I've often seen it recommended that the "laxative tea" be a brand that contains senna. Senna is a strong laxative that works by irritating your colon. It will do progressive harm with repeated use. So I advise against it. A gentler alternative is chamomile tea, though you'd have to see whether that is adequate to keep your bowels moving daily. |

Thank you for your sympathies. It was horrible! Let me ask you this, can I do the cleanse absence of the SWF and only using the detox tea morning and evening? |
