I was going to do the cleanse for the first time on the 1st. It was suprisingly easier than I thought. I have no doubt I can do this in this in the future but I forgot about a memorial coming up this weekend and I'm sure there will be adult beverages so I decided to stop after 5 days to try to get my body a little back to normal by then. Lame reason, I know but I'd like to enjoy the memorial by snacking/sipping/mingling so...
Yesterday was day 5. Being that I've never done this I don't even know if 5 days was beneficial or not. I def didn't lose any weight but is there any benefit for going that little of a time besides knowing I'll be able to do it when my schedule is clear? Also, do I still need to go by the 3 day cool down (2 day juice, 3 day raw) or am I able to eat sooner? I don't want to shock my body or hurt it but I only fasted for 5 days. Can anyone tell me what is safe? Is it safe to have a salad? A turkey sandwhich? Any advice and any no-no's would help a ton!
