First let me state this is my 11th day of the MC I have successfully completed my 10 days, this was my first cleanse.. I lost 17 pounds. I will continue to 14 days.. However: I Increased my SWF to 3 teaspoons and I have not lost any weight in about 3 days. I believe I am retaining water, I even feel bloated. Is there anything I can do stop retaining water, other than going back to 2 teaspoons. What helps get rid of the water?

It is very normal on MC to stop losing weight in the second week for several days. It has nothing to do with your SWF. Metabolism is slowing down now. Please focus on slowing down and resting. Your body is doing far more internal work than you realize, and it needs you to rest. This is a fast. You are doing great by the way. Wow. That is alot of weight to lose in ten days. Only men usually lose like that on MC, are you a man?

No, I am very much a woman. I am however; overweight I believe I read somewhere, that overweight people tend to lose faster. I am also a woman of God, so I have fasted before but not without solid food especially for 12 days. You are a wise person. I have read your post. You appear to be spiritual as well. I do know the benefits of fasting, however; I did do this more as a cleanse and prayed for God's grace to keep me during this venture. I have made it 12 days, this is my first cleanse. I will stop at 14 days. Can you give me some tips on what to expect the first week after the cleanse. When will my tongue stop being white and yellow?

do a spit test. in the morning upon awakening take an 8 ounce glass of water before you have eaten or drank anything and spit into the top of the glass, if strings come down and the water clouds you could have candida and your tongue will not go pink on MC

Shiva - I am ending the cleanse today, if I have candida, will my tongue return to it's normal color upon completion.

no if you have candida your tongue will stay white. do the simple test. it will be conclusive.
