I'm not starving. I don't feel weak. I don't feel strong or anything, either, and I know it's only day 3. But I'm really craving food. I know I want to cleanse my body of bad stuff, but this just feels like I'm starving myself, and not cleansing. A large part of me wants to just call it quits and eat a pizza, and work my way to eating food I know is better for me. I didn't get fat overnight, and the last time I lost a bunch of weight, it was through a concerted effort to work out regularly, not from starving myself.

Horrible, I know.

Geez.

I just feel crappy right now. Want food.

Is there just some wall you have to get past? Or is it going to be like this the entire time? Food just sounds good right now. I like the taste, activity, feeling of eating with others… this just feels crappy and like denial, like I'm punishing myself for having done things wrong, rather than rewarding myself by doing good things.

My stomache is all empty. Boo.

Don't give up, Jasper. As a teacher, I have read A LOT about this program before beginning, and everyone says that first three days are the hardest. You are right there, so don't give up! I envy your courage at day 3, as I sludge through day 1.

Hang in there! We can all do it!

I will say that it does get easier as you progress each day. I'm on my second cleanse (having done a 10 day already). I craved everything you can imagine my first 3-4 days. Then I just didn't care for food anymore.

If anything, I just felt (and feel now) VERY bored. I have nothing to do. All the time I spend preparing meals, thinking about what I want to eat, driving to a restaurant is now spent doing nothing... I have so much time on my hands now. I am very bored...

You wanna know how bored I got??? I love food, and I love cooking, so every free moment I'm thinking about all the wonderful meals I'm gonna make when I get off this thing. And I made a list of all the cookbooks I want... that list has over 90 books! Yikes! There's no question at all about what I've spent my free time thinking about :lol:

I hear you Misslady! My wife and I both cook. Now she cooks for all the family (except me) before I get home. So now, when I get home, the dinner is already eaten, dishes are put away. And we have 3 to 4 hours to do... nothing.

But I will say that after the first 10 cleanse, I feel great! No more heartburn, or throwing up which I used to do at least twice a week (yes it was involuntary).

Now that I'm on my second cleanse, I feel even better. And I've lost a total of 28 pounds. This cleanse is very hard, no doubt. But if you can make it through, you won't regret it at all! Good luck everyone!

Yumm gravy... :shock: I too have a list of all the junk I want to eat when I am done but I know its soo bad for me so I will try not to eat that stuff. Smells are the hardest. When I was walking my dog I earlier I swear I smelled nachos lol.

STICK TO IT JASPER. you're doing better than you know. the first couple of days are the hardest. you got passed that. to all you bored people, go find something to do. go play some pool, go bowling, read something informative. go shopping for something. you can't buy food, so buy something else with all that money you didn't spend on food. and to all PEACE 8)
