A lot of the things I've read strongly recommend the SWF. I know that Stanley Burroughs said you can substitute for a cup of laxative tea in the morning as well but from personal experience I think the SWF is very important. The laxative tea helps loosen the gunk in the walls & the salt water helps flush it out. I can tell the difference during the first couple days of the SWF and the latter days on the MC cleanse.

Using warm water helps dissolve all of the salt. I use 2 teaspoons of sea salt in a quart of water & drink it thru a straw. It is quite difficult the first couple times & I have to try to stop myself from hurling it back but you will see the results towards the end of the cleanse.

Try your best to do it every morning and give yourself about an hour-2 hrs from the moment you take the SWF before you leave the house.

Good luck!

Definitely do the flush. But you can also mix it up with the senna tea and psyllium husk tablets as well. Both work great, and I think the psyillium husk gives your inside a good scrubbing. But definitely don't skimp on the swf

I am concerned about ingesting salt water flush due to water retention issues when I use salt. I always avoid salt at all costs! What experience does everyone have with this issue?

Juliet; I did SWF for 8 days during my last Cleanse which lasted 30 days. I was not getting what I considered good results. I also tried altering the amt of Salt, which did not change the outcome. I too, do not use much or any Salt in my daily life, so that was also a concern for me.
It has been about 1 month since I finished my Cleanse, but felt bloated since Christmas Dinner. I did a SWF this morning, and it worked great. So I guess, it just works differently for everyone, at different times.
Just see what works for you. Stay very well hydrated so your body does not absorb and retain the SWF.

Good Luck
