Thank you for the continued support Chrissy and Pegasus,
Chrissy, I need to ask you a question about transitioning back into food.
I have searched high and low on the internet, and consulted the Stanley Burroughs book he says you can eat your veggie broth on day 2. He doesnt say anything about the amount of days on the cleanse should correspond with how long you transition back into food or have I misinterpreted you, I apologise if I have.
I have incorporated Stanley Burroughs and Tom Woloshyn's advice on coming off in my post cleanse meal plan. Dont read any further if you are feeling a little fragile.
Post Cleanse Plan Day 1: Freshly squeezed Orange Juice (I cant wait for this day!) Day 2: Orange Juice, make veggie soup in the day including several vegetables, eating only some of the vegetable pieces. No bread allowed, just rye wafers. I really like this soup recipe, I may add cauliflower to it. http://www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/ka ... able_soup/ yum! Day 3: Orange juice in the morning, left over soup for lunch, and then any other veggie meal for dinner ( No meats, eggs, milk, fish, bread, pastries, tea, coffee) Evening meal: Carrot, Red lentil & Cauliflower Dahl. Day 4: According to Stanley Burroughs and Tom Woloshyn, "normal eating can be resumed". (Since I will be eating a predominately 90% veggie diet, I will probably have some raw ruit for breakfast and/or oatmeal, lunch will be a Leek Zucchini & Parsley Soup, wholemeal roll, and dinner will be a jacket potato with chilli non carne (no meat). I will probably snack on some nuts or fruits throughout the day. Day 5: Raw fruit for breakfast, Tuscan Bean Soup for lunch with rye wafers, Dinner: Spanish veggie tortilla with a big green salad sprinkled with cashew nuts Day 6: Breakfast: Raw Fruit, Lunch: Left over soup from yesterday: Dinner: Cumin scented falafels, with cucumber sticks & curried bean rice Day 7: Breakfast: Raw Fruit Lunch: English Breakfast turned veggie! Dinner: Lentil Broth
I will probably try to keep my diet like this for a while but I will adopt the same attitude as I do here, take it step by step and week by week. I wont weigh for the first week as I know the scales will go up in the first week, but I plan on taking my little girl to the zoo and doing lots of walking by the seaside. There is no meat/chicken/fish for my first week off and only two days where this is some dairy or eggs but those ingredients is part of a big meal and I will only be having one serving so I am not too worried about that. I am very happy with this coming off menu.
