Ok, I'm back again after my 10th wedding anniversary to really get down to business losing these extra pounds and getting healthy again. Here's the plan:
I have ten weeks until I go on a family vacation with my two kiddos and wonderful hubby, and I'd like to get into the best shape that I can so that I can actually enjoy myself instead of dragging around feeling old and tired like I have for the past five years or so. I really love the MC because it gives me a break from eating, gives my body a rest from working so hard at digesting food and allows it to work instead on healing itself and getting rid of built-up toxins. So my plan involves a series of three 10 day master cleanses, with breaks in between where I indulge in lots of healthy, raw low-cal food. That way I don't think I'll do damage to my metabolism and I'll also be fueling my body with lots of wonderful vitamins and minerals before getting back into the MC. I actually think this is probably healthier for you than doing a 30 day master cleanse all at once. I'm hoping to keep track of my weight and inches lost during this time so that I can see how well I'm doing. And, of course, I'll also log on here and keep a journal of how I am feeling emotionally, mentally, and physically, too. I'm hoping this will be a help to others who might be interested in getting healthy and losing weight this way.
Anyway, here's a break-down of my plan for anyone who is interested:
July 23 & 24: Raw food only to prepare for 10 day Master Cleanse. Foods that are allowed are: Watermelon, apples, plums, pears, smoothies, lettuce mix, avocado, carrots, and cucumbers. Drink only water, at least 60 ounces.
July 25-August 3: Master Cleanse. Drink six glasses of lemonade/limeade daily with Smooth Move Tea in the evenings.
August 4: Broth all day and homemade vegetable soup in the evening.
August 5-18: Raw food diet only, consisting of all fruits and vegetables, along with homemade juices and smoothies. Drink water only.
August 19-28: Master Cleanse. Drink six glasses of lemonade/limeade daily with Smooth Move Tea in the evenings.
August 29: Broth all day and homemade vegetable soup in the evening.
August 30-September 12: Raw food diet only, consisting of all fruits and vegetables, along with homemade juices and smoothies. Drink water only.
September 13-September 26: Master Cleanse. Drink six glasses of lemonade/limeade daily with Smooth Move Tea in the evenings.
September 27: Broth all day and homemade vegetable soup in the evening.
September 28-September 30: Eat only raw foods and then on Oct. 1st , begin adding in healthy lean protein.
My goal is to lose 45-50 pounds during this time.
