Yes! Have made it to day 3. This is the first time in a few years. Really feel the PTSD was bringing up raw emotions too quickly.
Day 1 in the evening, my thighs reallly hurt. Never felt that one before. Fine the next morning.
Felt a little worn out waking up early yesterday morning (day 2). Took the salt water and rested a few hours. Surprised my girls wanted to T-Tapp with me (a method of movement that is very lymphatic, chiropractic and works 6-7 muscles at one time). Had to be the role model so used my energy to get a t-shirt on and didn't even bother to get out of sweat pants.
Had a lemonade with ketones instead of syrup before started. Oh wow! Got great energy and felt so good T-Tapping! They did Turn Back Time Basic for about 10 minutes. Mom ended up doing the 30 minutes and had so much energy did the floor workout also. That was a happy surprise.
The crankiness came out yesterday afternoon as Marine mom got on the kids. Got some cleaning and yard clean up out of it anyway
Not much hunger until yesterday evening, one warm glass of lemonade and gone.
Even made it through the grocery store yesterday, no problem. No cravings, not hungry and that is a first! Previous cleanses I was thinking food big time and grocery stores and restaurants were the worse. The cashier said, "how could you ever do 16 days? I could never!" Well if you think you can, you can. If you think you can't, you are right.
I just think of my body and am apologizing for treating it poorly. I think of my dad who is dying from cancer, in so much pain, and the cancer just eating him up (he has lost 80 lbs in two months). So ya, so 16 days (my goal) is not a big deal. The time is going to pass anyway so let's do something amazing for ourselves - spring cleaning.
Slept well and here it is day 3, yay! Hubby heading out of town for work for a few days so got up early with him. Felt great until the salt water. Tried warm water hoping it would be more effective. Not yet and felt so bad had to lay down.
Back up a few hours later and felt better as soon as had a warm lemonade. Planning on some T-Tapp, a nice walk and keep on keeping on! Tomorrow is off to my parents for a "Celebration of Life" party for my dad. My mom had me order two cakes from an incredible baker. Oh ya, stopped by there yesterday and no problem! Can it be the ketones providing my body and brain energy vs. glucose from the maple syrup? So ordered two cakes and no desire at all to have any. (another first).
Made a pot of chili last night too and not a craving to take a bite at all.
Keep telling yourself that you can do this, be proud of yourself and keep positive thoughts and self-talk. Thoughts are so incredibly powerful!
You can do this! Much healing energy to all cleansers!
