DeeDee, you are killin' this thing! Good work!

You are also hydrating (drinking water and mint tea) when not drinking the lemonade, right?

I just started a master cleanse (7th time) and I will not go more than two weeks, I think. Probably just the usual 10 days. I am already small (5'5" and 130 lbs) so my goal is not a dramatic loss. So I am in total awe of you right now.

Keep posting and tell me how your body feels!

Love, Bali Lemon

Thanks for the encouragement Breezygirl & Bali Lemon! I appreciate it!

I'm drinking a lot of water but probably not enough. I'm also only drinking 4 maybe 5 lemonades a day and smooth move tea. I would love to drink more I just haven't been able to. I'm trying to increase my water a lot more though. I feel good overall, some-days better then others. I'm not hungry but the cravings are definitely still there. This past week has been tough because the scale isn't really moving. Today I started walking on the treadmill so hopefully that'll help. It isn't much but better then nothing. Still not sure when I'll stop but it'll def be sometime after I'm under 200lbs (whenever that is)

Have a good weekend all :)

Awesome, Deeds.

You may just get to that 200 mark in less than 2 more weeks. Glad to know you are mindful of the water intake. It's hard, I know, but to just kind of keep reminding yourself is helpful.

With so much lost already, are you now in slimmer clothes? I frickin' LOVE that aspect of the MC.

Really good work, and def power down those waters now that you are trying the treadmill. Your body will thank you.

Love, Lem

Thanks Bali Lemon. I'm still the same size in jeans but my jeans are getting very loose so I'll be down a size in no time. I do feel like my clothes fit me way better. Hoping I can get over this weight loss slump I've been in this past week. Its a bit discouraging.

Have a great Saturday all :)

Hey, that's cool about clothes fitting better. Yay for that!!

Plateaus are a b***h! I keep my Peter Glickman "Lose Weight, Have More Energy, Be Happier in 10 Days" book handy when I'm on the MC and here's what he says about plateaus (would that be 'plateaux'? ):

"If you don't drink the minimum six drinks a day,you won't detox as much.Lots of fluids help to cleanse the kidneys and liver as well as the colon."

Which gives me pause... when I first did the MC, I was drinking 12 lemonades a day, and I still lost an average pound a day. Your body will derive nutrition from those lemons and syrup, making it easier to let go of the stuff that's sitting in the digestive tract.

I can't remember... are you just doing the senna tea, or do you sometimes chug the seawater? The proven method is the salt water flush, even if it is difficult to swallow. I know some people can take it if they tell themselves it's boullion or soup.

Hope this helps. You are a frickin' tiger!

Luv, Lem

I bought a new Bluetooth scale last week and it arrived yesterday. I wanted something that measures BMI, body fat, Lean Mass, Water Weight, and Bone Mass, etc. I wanted this for after MC when I start P90X. So I used it this morning and that's the weight I logged today. I'm going to start using the new scale for my daily weight log.

Bali Lemon I'm just doing smooth move tea. Last time I did MC I was vomiting the salt water flush up almost immediately....So this time around I'm sticking to SM tea :)

Have a good Sunday :)

Hey, great that you upgraded your scale. I don't have bluetooth, but I do have a programmable one that records BMI and gives me decimals on my kilos, so I love it. Glad to see that it is giving you feedback on your efforts (shows a loss of two lbs... really awesome after all your hard work).

Wow, I get it with the vomit angle on the salt water, and I am about to say something that I sincerely want to be encouraging rather than an invalidation of your obvious drive, dedication and power. With so much time dedicated to this Cleanse, I would hope that you take advantage of every aspect of what Burrows worked out for this program.

Here goes: I get that the senna tea is giving you some flush out. Keep it up, as it is fully part of the MC. But I would urge you to experiment with consuming a liter of water first thing in the morning with even just a scant (underfilled) teaspoon of high quality sea salt in it (French, etc)... experiment with small amounts and see what you can tolerate. Because I don't think even a large mug of senna is going to give you all the benefits you'd get from a real salt water flush-out. I'm linking a virtual arm in yours and saying, let's effing try this, Babe! Just a scant teaspoon? Want to give it a shot? If you keep it down and it sends out a little more junk down the turnpike, well WOO HOO. And if it makes you barf, then try even less salt next day. I can see you working up to a regular SWF with a little patience and experimentation with the saline amounts.

We all dedicate so much energy and time to this thing, it's worth going for the purest form of the program. Call me the colon carer, whatev'.

In solidarity, love, and guts,

Lem

Himalayan is a good, easy gradient step to try. Some people don't get a flush out of Himalayan (I have, when I used it) and you will get all the mineral benefits.

Carry on; you're doing super well.

Dear DeeDee:

Down it goes! I lost a fraction yesterday, as well. But it's a loss, so let's hoot 'n holler!

Yee hah!

Good work; keep posting.

Today has been a crappy day. I feel horrible. I woke up this morning extremely nauseous and went straight back to bed. The only thing I've been able to keep down all day has been water. I just woke up a bit ago (4pm) still very nauseous. I'm now trying to get down a lemonade. Hoping I feel better later because I have to work tonight.
