Day 12 I had low energy last night for the first real time on this. I have gotten sleepy earlier, but haven't felt low energy. We walk 2 miles when we can, my wife and I. It is like a date. The kids can stay home because we are close enough and walk in circles and some are old enough. We went to a park last night for the kids that has a track around it. Last night I stopped before I got to 3/4 of a mile. I was shaky and weak. I probably could have done it, but wasn't feeling right. I drank some more lemonade and some more water. Other than that yesterday was about the same. I have been listening to my body on drinking the lemonade instead of trying to force down 10-12 glasses a day. It was much more pleasant to me. Tomorrow is my last day. I am feeling done with it mentally for sure. I want to enjoy a meal, tasting it, with my family. That has been the only hard part for me. The past 2-3 days it has only been determination to finish what I started that has kept me on it. The fact my kids know my goal was 14 days, I know my goal was 14 days... thats the only thing keeping me going now. We had changed our eating lifestyle before I started this so, I will go back to that once we are done. I had already lost 10 doing that. about 3-4 pounds per month. It has been exciting and refreshing to my mind. Clarity of mind is one of the things I like the most. Weight Each Morning Day 01 - 236 Day 2 - 234 (-2) Day 3 - 233 (-1) Day 4 - 230 (-3) Day 5 - 229 (-1) Day 6 - 228 (-1) Day 7 - ? Day 8 - ? Day 9 - 226 (-2) Day 10 - 224 (-2) Day 11 - 223 (-1) Day 12 - 222 (-1) Day 13 - 221 (-1) 15 pounds |

I didn't make it to 14 days. I made it through 13 days. My wife and kids BEGGED me to eat with them and call it 13 this weekend and I gave in. I don't regret it, but wanted to do 14 days. But it was a great easter weekend with friends! Thanks for all the support as I yanked myself hard for the past 13 days to remind myself that I need to continue to grow in my healthy lifestyle. |

13 days is totally fabulous! Well done! But do ease out slowly (best is a day of OJ, broth at ngiht, and then a day or two of veg soup. Take those probiotics to get the gut working right again. Please post a success story and a few more entries about living with a healthy diet. I have found that the MC just sets me right up for some healthy eating, which I am usually able to do, post-cleanse. Bet your family is totally proud of you. Again, well done! Lem |
