Hello everyone,
I've been here before and cleansed many times before. I finally reached my fitness and weight loss goals last Fall. I was about 160lbs (I'm 6ft) and felt very thin and strong. I worked out at the gym 4 times a week, lifting weights + cardio, and I had a great vegan diet. I maintained this lifestyle until I graduated college in December. My husband took me on many trips, so I stop working out, drank a lot, and indulged in deliciously sinful vegan foods! Now I'm 20lbs heavier, weighing in at 180lbs and it's like I don't know who that girl is in the mirror. I've been working out for a few weeks now, running, and hitting the gym. But I'd really like a jumpstart on my weight loss. I know that it would be much easier to run and move when I weigh less.
Since we aren't going out of town for a while, I'm excited to have this extra time to cleanse on my own. I have some goals for myself while I cleanse.
Each day I want to focus on a different muscle group and do some easy workouts. Today, I'll do abs. Tomorrow, I'll do arms, and the next day, legs. And so on. I'd also like to go to the gym and sit on the bike for some easy cardio. I don't think I would be able to handle any other activity, except for maybe walking. Perhaps I could also hit the sauna?
Other than that, I just need to do some things around the house. I hope to stay busy. I know what to expect from the cleanse. But I MUST make a rule for myself: NO FOOD PORN!! For some reason, it's so easy to get trapped on FB scrolling through recipe videos! It happens every time I cleanse!
