I think your plan for thirty days is a great goal, and try and just be open. If your mind says you can, then you can. Then take it one day at a time. Stay in the moment, stay in this day, and do not waiver from your goal. Be prepared, never leave home without your drink with you. You'll be fine, and the first week or two, try to stay away from places where food is being served. Best to outsmart your hunger, by staying away instead of trying to be strong in vulnerable situations. I have caved on a fast facing a buffet table many times... so try not to go there.
Congratulations on your upcoming marraige. If you really want to lose wieght, try giving up sugar and all fast foods, and soda pop. This will absolutely make all the difference. I have been fasting for years, and the fasts have helped wieght loss no question, but the thing that got me really skinny, was a life style change after the fast. NO SUGAR. Get off white rice, bread, potatoes, and all sweets. This will give you the result you pray for.
