I am a major food/carb addict. I am currently on Day 7 of my second cleanse. My first one was 21 days..I'm planning 30 for this one.
The BIGGEST thing you need to prepare for is the mental game of it. For me its a daily ~ hourly ~ minutely challenge. My mind in constantly telling me to eat..or get off the cleanse for one reason or another. The other day, I was contemplating getting off the cleanse so I could eat popcorn at the movies this weekend

Its very challenging but you just have to have the right mindset. Just tell yourself you are doing this and thats it. If you have a really hard/bad day just push to the next one because it will most likely be better.
Do not under any circumstances give in to even the tiniest food. As soon as you think...oh, I'll just have one bite, or one piece..I guarantee you'll blow it for the whole day.
