CleanContender, soul sister is right! I too live in Wine Country, we hold an annual well known 'Grape and Wine Festival' and have an enormous amount of wineries here in the Niagara Region! I hear you about the 'tune up'. I just couldn't bare to be just going through the motions anymore, dragging myself out of bed, tired and dehydrated cause of the wine and poor sleep that goes with it. My son is a teenager and does his own thing and I hated being alone so the wine was my companion so to speak. Well, this time doing the fast has had me solitude alot and guess what? I'm okay with it, alot better than I ever thought I could be- AND- I don't need to self medicate
Eureka moment .. lol
I'm so glad to hear you are being realistic with your weight goals, make it manageable then you don't have to beat yourself up when you don't attain an unrealistic goal right. I am playing with the notion of continuing on for longer than 10 days, but no longer than 20 cause my birthday is at the end of the month and I plan some nice Shiraz with (a little) red meat
thanks for the encouragement CC , look forward to hearing your journey .....
Lori, Welcome and I hear ya on the 'why are we feeding ourselves so much?', cause I like you am not that hungry. I've thought about the excess that I've eated and although I've always hated that 'full feeling' I would eat and then when comfortable dig in for more, like why?? You have support here and I agree, this sight is the 'bomb'
I know it helps me immensely. Look forward to hearing you triumps and challenges throughout your fast. Marni
