Am on day 19, have kids too and cooking each day, you can make it and it's good to set small goals and go from there. I take mine one day at a time. I have 21 more days to go, hope i can make it. After sometimes, the food cravings will go, sometimes, they come back, but i guess i can advice that as much as is possible avoid the kitchen. I only go there to prepare the meals and when they are eating, am either mixing my lemonade or drinking it. Also planning for a Raw Food Lifestyle, but i will do it gradually considering that it's not cheap buying fruits and vegetables daily, actually i have introduced Brown Rice, my kids don't like it much, but they eat with encouragement from yours truly, in my household, no one refuses to eat mummy's food, whatever she prepares has to be eaten! hahaha, the rule is working with regards to the Brown Rice, we will see when the other raw foods are introduced.
