Hi! I am on day 1 and drinking my first glass as I type. I am doing this for multiple reasons. The main is to 're-boot' my system. I have a few calcium deposits in my joints and am hoping this helps with those. i am looking at becoming about 60-70% raw food vegan after as well....so i want to get all the "crap" litterally and figuratively out of me and start clean! I am not sure how much weight i will lose, i am going to do an experiment and go get my body fat and muscle weight tested today, so the weight i do lose, i will know if it is fat, waste, water, or muscle or how much of a combo of all of them! my challenges wil be preparing food for my husband, 3 year old and 9 month old twins. I am always licking the spoons and eating off their plates. SO i am looking to this site for encouragement and celebrating milestones. I know if i can get through 3 days...i should be good....1st goal is 7 days, then 10...so we will see how i feel! wish me luck! SW: 142.6 GW: 134 |

Hey mom3, Am on day 19, have kids too and cooking each day, you can make it and it's good to set small goals and go from there. I take mine one day at a time. I have 21 more days to go, hope i can make it. After sometimes, the food cravings will go, sometimes, they come back, but i guess i can advice that as much as is possible avoid the kitchen. I only go there to prepare the meals and when they are eating, am either mixing my lemonade or drinking it. Also planning for a Raw Food Lifestyle, but i will do it gradually considering that it's not cheap buying fruits and vegetables daily, actually i have introduced Brown Rice, my kids don't like it much, but they eat with encouragement from yours truly, in my household, no one refuses to eat mummy's food, whatever she prepares has to be eaten! hahaha, the rule is working with regards to the Brown Rice, we will see when the other raw foods are introduced.
