Day 1

Took the laxative tea last night... woke up with some pretty bad stomach cramps and had to go to the bathroom real bad... but feeling a lot better now. I haven't drank any of the lemonade yet, but will make it in a little bit. The day's already almost half over. My stomach isn't doing too bad. It's growling a little but manageable. Just trying to stay away from food and not thinking about it-- not too big of an issue right now. Drinking plenty of water : )

My mom is fixing dinner for everyone right now... which is a little tempting because eating is a habit more than anything else, but honestly, I'm really not that hungry, and I know this detox really isn't that long, and I know that the benefits of detoxing far outweigh any momentary pleasure or satisfaction :::grits teeth::: just gotta stay strong! It's all just a mental game.

Your liver will be LESS able to clean out toxins if you don't have proper nutrition. Posters above her got it right. Your body will detox itself just fine. If you want a 'clean' kick-start you could try eliminating alcohol
