Tomorrow I will be doing the master cleanse. I believe in having support for this so I turned to this site. The purpose of this journal is to keep me accountable to raw foods as well as completing master cleanse with success.

I would love to eat foods that nourish me and be an example to my daughter. I do not want to pass on unhealthy eating traditions and want to change the way we both view food while she is still young. I am not overweight (just 10 lbs over my post baby weight!) but can definitely feel the negative affects of the foods I am currently eating (such as bloating, stomach cramping from gluten/milk products, etc).

I use to eat 85-100% raw but "fell of the wagon" a few months ago and just fell into a slight depression that resulted in turning to comfort foods to get me by. I want to regain control of my life and to start, I will begin with the master cleanse.

Hi rawmom,

I'll also be starting the master cleanse tomorrow. I also have a daughter and want to teach her a healthy lifestyle by example. I'm addicted to sugar! I want a cookie right now. haha! but I'll drink this smooth move I just boiled up.

Hey Raw Mom and Makelemonade,

I am on Day 1 today too! So, the way I am doing it (due to a big event this coming Saturday) is that I am going to 'ease in' for 5 days with 100% raw fruits and vegetables. Then Sunday (9/16) will be my first day to to the official Master Cleanse. I have done this before (like a week or so) but this time I am going to aim for longer...I hesitate to say how many days I would like to go because I am afraid of failure...ha ha! Actually, I plan to play it by ear...depending on how I feel. I want to lose a few lbs (maybe 15ish?) but mostly just want to detox and feel better. My previous experience is that it works REALLY WELL!!!
I have a suggestion...you may want to start a new Journal thread in the "Journals and Blogs" section. It will get much more action there!

Hope you are having a great day!

Hello RawMom & Get-N-Clean,

I was to start with a friend on the 8th of this month, however I started on the 11th. I'm looking forward to the end results & some support, as this is my 1st time doing this. I had been a vegan & got off of it due to my husband, who could no longer handle the raw food diet, as we went cold turkey. So, I'm trying to get back on track: starting with the MC & then going back onto a raw food diet.

BTW: Thanks: I'll have to check that section out!!

:D
