Post subject: | First timer, Day 12 |
Hello, I'm new here and this is my first post. When I began this 12 days ago, I wasn't sure how long I'd stay on it. I just decided to take one day at a time as the old saying goes and see where it brought me. I am male, and started at 252.4 after 3 years of stalling between 250-ish and 265 from an all-time high of 286 on 7/4/13. It was frustrating. I've done every diet out there and while I realize that isn't the sole purpose of this plan, I had to try something to break this 3 year up an down plateau. As I write this, I weighed in after 12 days at 229 pounds for a loss so far of 23.4 pounds. I am really happy as you can imagine, but I need to get to 165 pounds (64 more to go) and I am tempted to continue on but for some reason, I am having one of the hardest days today. I've been fortunate in that I didn't get many of the side effects probably because I have done intermittent fasting and 2 day cleanses many times before but nothing to this extent. Today I have constant dry mouth (is that a symptom?) no matter how hydrated I keep myself. I am really, really good btw at drinking lots of water, always have been. I am drinking more than half of my weight in ounces plus 8 eleven ounces of MC daily plus the SW flush plus the 2 cups of Smooth Move. Until today I felt great! Today I feel like I am so tired, no energy at all, crabby and all around not good. Is it normal to get these symptoms so late into the cleanse? Because prior to this it was a breeze. High energy, no headaches, some hunger pain but my only and constant symptom is I am FREEZING all the time. That I can deal with and I know that can be normal. The being cold part has not passed but no biggie. Thanks for any support you can offer and Happy weekend! Dan |

Hi Dan, Sorry to see nobody replied to help you out with this until now. Congratulations on getting through 12 days! That's great! I hope you were able to get through that tough phase you encountered at day 12. I imagine you're probably off the Master Cleanse now. But if you could use any help or tips at this point, please reply. Mike |
