Master Cleanse Forum - Master Cleanser Lemonade Diet

Here's my situation:

I'm a big guy trying to get healthy. I make no claim to be doing this for any reason other than shedding some extra pounds I've been carrying for way too long. In my attempts to drop weight, I've usually been successful - being a young active guy helps... but this is the first time for something as drastic as this though.

I started my little trip at 315 lbs, had a bet with a co-worker, and lost 32 pounds in a month (the extremely unhealthy way - lots of clenbuterol and cytomel) - I won... and managed to keep most of that weight off.

Second time around I became a vegan - pretty much the best thing I've ever done in my life. Dropped another whack of weight over a much longer, healthier time frame.

Now I'm doing this to shed the home stretch (currently 265 - hoping to drop to 225 over the next year or so - figured I'd jump start the year with a 21+ day cleanse).

I'm starting on Saturday (as my girlfriend would like one last night to have our favourite meal, share a bottle of Penfold's Bin 2, and no horrible breath) - anyone interested in joining?

The thing with my body is that I'm stubborn as all hell - so doing something has never really bothered me - willpower is always there - but I got up to 315 because of college football - I can get down to 225 because of this.

My only question other than looking for a partner is this:
1) I do tend to smoke a bit of marijuana on occasion - I've got some tremendous pain from back in my playing days - I don't have functioning knees anymore - and it's better to me than taking chemical pain meds. Has anyone else continued their use of marijuana whilst on the cleanse and what have they found.

Note: I'm not a druggie - but this is a once every few weeks when the pain gets unbearable thing - and I know what Burroughs has said - but this is the best and easiest way for me to cope. Not looking for a lecture, just experiences.

I would join you, but I have a few social obligations and won't be starting my fast until August 1st. Looks like I'll have to eat your dust on that one.

As for the marijuana, well obviously you should avoid it while cleansing, but you know, as long as you're not doing it terribly often, I don't see where there will be dramatic harm. Just keep it limited.

I'm starting tonight: 20 days cleansing, 4 days on juice. I'd be glad to be a cleansing buddy . The support on this forum is fantastic! I hope this cleanse will be effective for you and a good experience. This will be my first, real long cleanse..

And great job on the vegan thing. I'm a vegan too. I think it definitely helps to be healthier!

Hi guys...I am starting my second round of MC too tonight with tea and tomorrow with SW flush. I felt very good on my first cleanse after some difficulty days 3-5. I only did MC for 7 days due to social obligations creepimng in. I have a nice clear schedule for this 10 day round and am doing cleanse in honor of my 37th B-day on 8/16. I am committing to 10 days but may go 15 depending on how I am feeling. Any other fresh starts out there? Alyssa
