Master Cleanse Forum - Master Cleanser Lemonade Diet

Today is day 11 for me. This is the first time I've done MC and am not sure if I'm ready to go off or not. My tongue is still white. I felt either very good or very normal for the first week, but since the have had some low-energy times on and off. At this point I am pale, dark circles and bags under the eyes, feel a little 'run down.' This could be because my body is in a cleansing phase or it could be because I haven't eaten in 10 days.
Can anyone who's completed the diet give me any advice? What were the signs you were ready to break the fast?

For me it has always been when I can no longer take the cleanse mentally. I am not sure I have reached my physical limit (even on my 18 day fast).

Listening to your body is the best guide. If you are run down, try drinking a bit more of the lemonade today & tomorrow and see if your energy level picks up. If so, keep going knowing that you need to drink a bit more and if things are still run down in a couple of days, that is probably a good sign that the body is ready to get back to eating.

I'm on day 26 of my 40 day fast. I'm wondering if anyone has gone past 40 days? Today for the first time I was feeling a bit hungry. I think I can attribute it to not getting enough rest --taking care of sick children--working a heavy schedule-- and NOT doing my salt water this morning.

I know that on days when I don't do the salt water ( because I can't hang out near the toilet for an hour or two) I feel sluggish, sometimes headachey, or hungry. On days when I do the SWF I feel energetic and not hungry.

How do I know when its time to stop? I was thinking that I could probably do this for 40 days -- or even longer. I have lots of extra weight on my body ( I started my diet and fasting last year at 243 and now I am 189 -- the first 30 pounds came off by going Vegan --the rest came off fasting)so I'm not concerned about getting too thin. And I have a flexible schedule so I can usually rest and be near the toilet when I need to.

My tongue is till coated --even after I brush it well -- it seems to get coated again during the day. I've read that it can clear u p and then be coated again at differeent times of a fast. Any ideas on this?

Also--I keep thinking about drinking some psyllium husks in a glass of lemonade to cleanse my bowels --has anyone tried this???

I could use some feedback and the voice of experience.
