Hey folks:

Today is Day 5 and I am not sure what my weight is. I am doing just fine and have actually decided to finish my 10 days, give myself a weeks break and begin again for another 15 days. Please send me some encouragement.

My husband makes my tea at night and he uses the biggest damn glass he can find - bless his heart but that tea is nasty too. So, for the past 2 nights I decided to make my own tea and use half the water but I notice that I don't cramp up at night or have the 5 AM release. It takes me doing the SWF now to get my juices (for lack of better word) moving. I will go back to using his big ass glass.

I have a few items that need alterning but I want to wait until I reach 154 pounds because that would be the point where even if I did gain my weight back I could still squeeze into it without too many giggles from my kids. I am currently wearing size 10. I am still holding onto some size 8s that I just can't seem to part with. I find myself watching the Biggest Loser - I really commend the people who are going through this program it is really emotional and I find myself crying when they are sent home. But I am so proud of the people who transformed themselves. :P

But I digress - one other benefit is that my eyesight is improving. I have been in denial for years about wearing glasses. I don't know if I am near-sighted or far-sighted but its the one where I cant see a darn thing up close everything seems blurry (esp. small writing). I have been able to read things more clearly - what's that all about? I usually keep a magnifying glass by my bedside and at work. It wouldn't kill me to just have my friggin eyes checked and get a pair of glasses.

Anyway, enough of that rambling. I will post again on Monday. Looking forward to reading other's posts. Have a great week and happy cleansing.

Well MC friends, I am on day 9 and am breaking my fast for the sake of Thanksgiving. I will need 3 full days of easing back (w/probiotics) into regular food. We are planning a big family dinner and the in-laws. I plan to begin another 15-17 days after Thanksgiving.

I have to admit that I was not feeling too hungry, nothing a couple of swallows of LA couldn't cure.

This past weekend was a big test for me. My husband's cousin is a pro baseball player and he was celebrating his birthday with a party at the Sheraton. They had a (major) spread and all I had was my LA. My husband was so stuffed by the end of the night --and that is hard to do. What had happened was, I ate vicariously through him. So, whatever I wanted to see on my plate, I brought to him and made him eat it for me while I watched. But, I did not sway one bit. I just kept drinking my LA. That's teamwork :D

So, I was a little bit discouraged that my weight was stablizing at 158 for 3 days at which time I stopped checking the scale. I said I would not check again until the end of my cleanse which was today. I am happy to report that my final weight is 152.8. That is a total of 9 pounds and it is fitting with my 9th day. I don't know what happend or what I did to change it but it all worked out. I always knew I was 20 pounds overweight. I still have a few pounds to go so I think I'll get there by my next cleanse. I am satisfied. I will probably lose a few more pounds in the next couple of days because the post cleanse seems to still be a weight loss endeavor.

On last night I wanted to do a Epson salt bath. That is so relaxing, I actually fell asleep. I read somewhere that it also pulls toxins out of the body. But I guess I was toxin free because my water stayed clear. It was interesting. I have had this box of Epson salt for many years and never really used it until now. I got to reading the lable and to my surprise I read where you can also use it as an internal cleanser. Some of their how to prepare was the same as preparing the SWF. It also went futher to state "include lemon for taste". So, you SWFushers that are having a difficult time can add a little lemon for taste. I love this board because there is always some nibbletts of information you can use for your pre, post, or during cleanse. Try it and report back on your discovery. I might try it in my next cleanse that is one of my hardest things to do as I am sure it is hard for mostly everyone.

On Saturday I went to the Farmer's Market to get my post cleanse stuff. They had the biggest oranges and so sweet (I can't wait). Today I am drinking my orange juice and it is quite good. It says to drink slowly but after drinking only lemons you want to just take it to the head. Anyway, mine has a lot of pulp so I can't do anything but drink it slowly. I have my rice on soak and will stop by the market on my way home tonight to get the rest of my ingredients for my soup. I never thought I could look so forward to eating soup in my life. Its going to be hard to continue on but I know that my body needs this break and that for my health, I must get it under control.

I met a fellow cleanser this weekend. I usually get my lemons from neighbors because they are free from pesticides and whatever else they do to them to keep them fresh (separate from the stem). Her house is the one I usually go to get lemons because she has this amazing lemon tree in her front yard. I always get permission. Well, this time they said it was okay (as they always do) and to my surprise the woman said not to take them all because she was going to be doing a cleanse call the Master Cleanse :D I was so happy to meet her after all these months of getting lemons from her. All I could think of was a kindered soul. Finally someone who understands. Anyway, she will be starting her cleanse after the holidays as well so we exchanged phone numbers and I told her that anytime she needed help to call and of course come to this board for support.

SW: 161.8
CW: 152.8
GW: 135-145
Height: 5'6" (w/o heals) 5'8" (w/heals) which I tend to wear all the time. I can't wear flats.

Well, I will continue on other's board for support but I will see you again after the holidays on mine. Happy cleansing and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Bye, Blunun 8)

Hi family of cleansers:

I said "I'll BE BACK". I am back! I am into day 5 on the cleanse. Everything is thinning out for me (my face, arms, legs, BODY of course) and its just great. I have managed to get back into a size 8. I have not worn an 8 since before my middle child (age 14 now). I want to chew something but I am not craving food. I must be getting really used to all the temptations because even the TV commercials don't bother me anymore.

I am supposed to be going to a couple of parties this weekend and ooh wee, its going to be hard because these particular parties always has lots of food. But I will remain strong as I did for my cousin's birthday party a couple weeks ago at the Sheraton. BTW, I got my cousin (the baseball player) to do the cleanse. I will be checking with him this weekend to see if he continued. He said it was going great for him but he was not comfortable with not having any food because he is in training right now. I told him to speak with his trainer, physician and of course read the book. He's just worried that his type of training will need food and supplements. He said that when he is not training any longer he will do this diet for himself but right now since he is pro it requires a certain type of diet. I would not want the MC to be the reason for his team not making it to the Series. :D

My husband is also doing the cleanse with me. We both find it difficult to drink all of our day's worth. What we have started doing is putting the LA in our tea before we go to bed - makes it taste better.

Aunt Tilli came for a visit today, I was not expecting her (ladies you know what I mean). It has been pleasant though. No pains or discomforts as I usually get. This happened one other time for me during the cleanse and I wrote about the same disbelief of not having any pains. Usually I am loading my body with 800mg of Motrin every 3.5 hours. At least I am giving my liver a break.

So, I plan to go until December 14 but like everyone, will take it one day at a time.

Bye Blunun 8)

Me and my husband are both on day 8 of the cleanse. We were going to do 15 days but there are too many functions that we attend and the conversations always ends up "why aren't you eating". This is not the whole reason for us stopping at day 10. I believe I can go until 40 but I really feel clean and have slimmed down tremendously. I really don't want to get too thin. I have had a pink tongue since last week. Probably due to the fact that I did 9 days before Thanksgiving and have not had much since then. We will continue until this upcoming Wednesday, December 9. Friom this cleanse my stats were:

SW: 154.8
CW: 147 (and this is a controversy because my husband says our scale is 4 pounds hearvier - its electric) if that's true then my weight is 143.
GW: 145

I thought I could make it until Wednesday but I just can't drink anymore LA. Its not that I am hungry but the LA is starting to taste as bad as the SWF to me. I need a break. I am starting my post clease today and have just squeezed all of my OJ (I like it fresh). So again, I have made it to day 9. Well, you could say I did 18 days because I only broke it for 6 days for Thanksgiving (Nah, that would be cheating). My husband will continue until tomorrow. I am okay with my weight. I really don't want to get much smaller.

I will report back after my next 3 days of post cleanse with final measurements.

Bye, Blunun

P.S. Has anyone heard from Shivabliss? If you read her last posts, you will see what I am talking about.

Great work for sticking it out Blunun. I am interested how you went with your weight loss. Best of all you now have a detoxed, healthy body that will continue to eliminate weight and toxins as needed.

Thanks Secura. I love your avatar by the way. I intend to post my final results on the 10th, my last day before regular food. I knew it was time to stop because I found myself not drinking my LA at all. Yesterday I only had 2 8oz cups and that is not nearly enough. I had to even force that. I am happy with my results though. Hopefully I can keep it up. Well, since there has not been any food in the house the odds are that I will. I cook just enough for my kids and everything else is frozen. Will go to the market for fresh and healthy in a few days. Talk with you soon.

Hey everyone:

Well, I am at day 4 post cleanse. Down to 144 and loving it. I have brought out the "old" winter clothes (which looks new because I was not able to wear them before) oh joy. I am trying to wear them all before I can't fit them again. I shouldn't think like that - think positive and I will do it.

Today is my husband's first day of eating the soup (day 2 post cleanse for him). He looks great and down to 177. :P My tongue is wagging  Its nice when you can do something like this together because we understand each other and try to support each.

I am logging out and will return when I do the cleanse again which is somewhere in June or July. I will respond to other's blogs for support. Have a wonderful Christmas holiday and will talk to you all real soon.

To Obraxton, keep me posted on your results girl!

Well, the fact that you recovered is what is important. I am doing just fine. Are you going to be done before Christmas or will you continue past? I see your results as of 12/11 and it seems you have lost somewhere between 15-20 pounds. That is just great! Cheering you on

Well, hello everyone or anyone who cares,

I am back for my quarter cleanse. I thought I would be back in March but I got really busy. Today is my first day (last night I drank my SmoothMove). You never forget that first tates of the tea or the SWF in the morning - Yuk! I never get used to that but it's so important to the waste losses.

CW: 161
GW: Whatever I can get in 10 days

I think I will try and do something different this time. I am not going to weigh myself every day because it can be discouracing. I might do every 2 or 3 days just to be able to see a dramatic effect. I will know I am losing weight by my muffin top being thinned out. Sometimes I feel like I am carrying someone else's stomach over my own - I think its gross on me but we are our own worst enemy aren't wee? Whatever, its got to go.

So, if anyone cares to join me, just send me some encouragement and I will pop in daily to update you on my journey.

Want to say hi to some of the nicest people I've met out there and if they are back on this blog site, hope to talk to you soon. One thing I like about this site is its very positive and there are no color lines. We are all trying to accomplish the same goal and that's what makes us all unique. Happy Cleansing. :D

Day 2

I am feeling a little weak today I guess because I did not get much sleep behind the slight migraine. Its not as bad as it has been in the past. If it stays like this I can deal with it.

I have not weighed myself this morning I will try and wait until tomorrow morning. I said "try" .

My reason for the cleanse this time around is the same as it always is. I feel a little off this summer and want to get my system cleaned out. And, since my kids are gone for the summer I am feeling a little young (well if you consider 45 young). BTW that 's the new 35. Me and my sister are taking motorcycle riding lessons in a week and I have a new pair of jeans that I must get into comfortably. I can fit them but if I am going to be on a motorcycle all day long I want them to fit properly. NO CRACKS ALLOWED! Is this my woman's mid life crisis? I don't care, I have always wanted to drive a motorcycle.
