The only thing I can tell you is that according to the book I read, the soup is basically vegetable broth, with every vege you like added. I've been salivating about my soup for 11 days  so I'll make it like this:

Vegetable broth
Carrots
Celery
Red Bell Pepper
Jalepeno (fresh)
broccoli
sugar snap peas
some little chunks of potato
2 pieces of Kale
red onion
cilantro
fresh herbs

(not that I've given it much thought  ) Remember that you can't consume the veges the first day, you only get to drink the broth. But OMG how yummy will it be after it sits in the fridge for a few days!? THEN you can eat it WITH the veges.

I have to stop, I'm drooling on myself.

Wow, I just love all these soup recipes. We have to be very careful which ones we follow. People doing a cleanse or trying to lose weight should probably stay away from fried items in their soup and items like flour, milk and oats. :(

Instead of red onion please suggest some other ingredient because I don't like red onion.

I make a lot of soup. My basic veggie soup recipe ...

Carrots
Onions
Garlic
Broccoli
Potatoes
Celery
Mushrooms
Salt
Pepper

I add other veggies too, when available... such as cauliflower or brussel sprouts.

I guess you could say I like to keep it simple. I like the natural flavors of the veggies without a lot of herbs added.
