Hi everyone,

I'd like to start a food business here in our area. What do you think is a good food business today?

tea house / cafe. plenty of raw, vegan and vegetarian food. keep it simple.
everyday more and more people go veg. capitalize on it.
every veggie cafe in my area is doing great.

My idea........grow organic veggies, sell them to restaurants and markets, tomatoes sure fetch a high price! A cucmber cost almost 3 dollars at Jimbo's last time I went!

Hey, look at Chipolte's, there stock has climbed to over $200 a share........they have higher standard food sources, meats with no hormones.......etc....... Panera Bread is a good business platform to look at too. People are looking for better food choices these days, that's why these businesses are doing so well.

If I had financial backing I would open a fast-health food "drive thru" chain of business........anybody want to front the money?

i forgot to mention that you'll most likely need to get a food prep license and get whatever kitchen you use certified.
