I've grown wheatgrass a few times in the past but I can't seem to grow it without mold! I use it up pretty fast but still I like it to be about 4-5" long and if I wait that long I'll inevitably have mold. But if I start harvesting it before it gets moldy then it's only a couple of inches long and I barely get any juice.

What is wheatgrass and are we supposed to be consuming it on the master cleanse?

Purist MCers will say 'no' you aren't supposed to have wheatgrass while cleansing. But just do a few searches on it in the forums and you'll find a plethora of information on it.

I swear by wheatgrass when doing my extended cleanses...

that is so ridiculous that supposed purists say NO. Burroughs says clearly in the book that Chlorophyll is great to have while cleansing. But so many people don't realize that, or missed that part. All wheatgrass is, is 90 percent chlorophyll. Liquid sunshine, the best thing in the world for you.

To grow it without mold, simply make sure that the tray is up off the ground, I put bricks undert he corners of mine on the patio, it needs air to circulate around the bottom, otherwise the water sits in the tray and collects mold. Also do not over water and leave the soil muddy. You put about 3 cups of water on it twice a day. But this depends on the temperature, in colder climates you will need even less, make sure it's in an airy place and in indirect sunlight.

In the 70's I used to work at a health resort as a cook. Or uncook I guess you might call it. I always made shots for the guests who were fasting. Some were on the MC.

I sometimes put some mint in there too, easier on their stomach. This was in the 70's so I don't re-call how much I put in. Probably just a few leaves though.

They also used wheatgrass implants, (Up the colon) for those who could not drink it, because they would throw-up.

I drank mine, lol. Made me feel like Popeye! Instant strength!

I am in the market for a wheatgrass juicer. I wish the champion had an attachment for it.
Does anyone have suggestions for a great wheat grass juicer? Manual or electric? The last time I used one was in the 70's!

Thank you ShivaBliss! I had not seen that one before.
There are two new ones with that name on ebay right now, one for home use at about $349 and the commercial one for 2X more.
I shall keep my eye out for a used one. Or go to their site and see if they have one there too...maybe someone traded up.
