Fasting in October

Hi! I'm new to the raw scene. This year is the first year that I have been high raw - 100% raw. I turn back to 90% raw for the last two months and lost 18 lbs. But I know feel like I need to be 100% so that my body can have a rest and heal. I thought the best way to go 100% raw would be to juice and drink smoothies.

I've acutally started my juicing on Oct 1st. I had nothing but water all day and at night I drank a glass of water with 1 squeezed lemon in it. Man, did that give me strength. Yesterday, was a little harder. I had to venture out and drive and I have been feeling dizzy. So I juiced a few apples, zucchuni, a very small carrot and ginger and I felt great for at least 2 hour....well mentally.

Today, I have to venture out again so I plan to juice again. In was a little worried about not have fiber or not even drinking senna tea or doing a SWF but today "things" went Great!

I'm going to try to juice for the entier month of October. I'm a little scared and would love some support. If anyone would like to joing me that would be awesome!

I don't understand....are you on a juice fast or are you on the Master Cleanser? I don't think the MC works if you are putting food in your digestive tract.

I'm not on the master cleanse. A couple of years ago I tried it but could only go as long as 7 days because I believe the SWF and/or the senna tea was cleansing me out so well that by the 6th and 7th day my arms would go numb during the night. I can't do that again so I am trying water/juice fasting sometimes including smoothies.

hope your cleanse is going well! I've fasted a number of times over many years, preparing to start a 5 day one on Thursday of this week. Just wondering what exactly you're wanting to accomplish with your month-long fast? Take care and live well

I had similar issues with the MC. It pretty much cleaned me out so fast and well that my body actually didnt feel well and I felt weak and like I was getting sick so I stopped. Now I try to fast about once a month for 5 days or so and that seems to keep my mind and body on the right track.

So what are the rules for raw food dieting? It sounds fairly basic, but does this mean you cannot have any kind of heated food at all?
Also, what do you guys how do the diet typically eat throughout the day?
