10day MC started raw food 9 days ago, constipated again?

I have had a chronic problem with constipation for years.. I did the master cleanse for the full 10 days had wonderful results. I started back onto food with a 100% raw diet (and i both feel fantastic, and i have lost 14 lbs) however as of the last 3 days i have been back to my old constipated ways. Would it be ok to do a cleanse for a day or two to get my system moving again? Or do i need to go another 10days for it to be worth anything. The rest of me feels fantastic so i dont think i need the clease for any reason other then to get things "moving" again.. I really cant do another 10 day cleanse at this time because my husband has been away on business for 15days and i promised we would go out to dinner for his birthday when he got back (1/26) but i also hate to put off starting a new cleanse that long and risking things getting really stuck again. Id love your thoughts on what would be best.

What about just a salt water flush? Or a laxative tea. I wouldn't think you'd have to do the whole cleanse over again. Are you drinking alot of water? You just need to get your bowels moving. Perhaps adding some fibre??

well i dont think fiber is an issue since iv been eating all raw i consume entirely fruits/vegtables (i dont want to eat nuts/grains that are allowed raw because im trying to keep calories low to loose weight) but it is possible i havent drank enough water.. i will try that too.

if i do just the salt water flush can/should i eat the rest of the day?

Yeah, for sure you can eat the rest of the day. Peter Glickman, the author of 'Lose Weight, Have More Energy & Be Happier in 10 days' says he does the salt water flush some mornings following a night of not so healthy eating to get rid of it quicker. His book is essentially the second edition of the original version written by Stanley Burroughs. Peter actually started these forums.

Anyway, yeah water and a flush or two might help. Good luck !
